Session invites presentations to case studies of ethnogeneses,ethnic conflicts, nation-making, separatism, secession, ethno-national diversity, multicutlrualism and other related themes, particularly critical and/or theory-oriented ones. Comparative, historical, demographic, qualitative, quantitative, and any other contributions are welcome. One of Sessions organized by the Canadian Network for the Study of Identities, Mobilization and Conflict

This session is cross listed with the Society of Socialist Studies.
