CSA Conference Registration through Congress Delegate Registration

Anyone attending Congress (which includes the CSA Conference) must register as a Delegate. There are two components of Delegate registration; the ‘Congress Fee’ and the ‘Association Meeting Fee’. When registering as a Delegate, you will be asked to select the Association(s) and Conference(s) in which you will be participating or attending. Select ‘Canadian Sociological Association’ and appropriate fee category (see 2013 Congress Registration Fees chart below).

Toute personne qui assiste au congrès (qui inclut le congrès de la SCS) doit s’inscrire en tant que délégué. Cette inscription comporte deux volets : les «frais d’inscription au congrès» et les «frais de réunion de l’association». Lorsque vous vous inscrivez en tant que délégué, on vous demandera de choisir la ou les associations, ainsi que le congrès auquel vous participerez ou assisterez. Sélectionnez « Société canadienne de sociologie , et la catégorie de frais correspondante (voir le tableau ci-dessous).

All participants (presenters, panelists, Chairs, or Discussants) must also be CSA members in good standing and will benefit from a discounted Association Meeting Fee. Those planning to attend the CSA Conference as an observer only (i.e. neither Presenter, Chair, nor Discussant) are not required to be CSA Members and must therefore pay the ‘Non-Member’ Association Meeting Fee.

Les membres en règle de la SCS ont droit à un rabais pour les frais de réunion de l’association. Ceux qui prévoient assister au congrès de la SCS en tant qu’observateur seulement (et non comme présentateur, président ou participant à la discussion) ne sont pas tenus d’adhérer à la SCS. Ils n’ont qu’à acquitter les frais de réunion de l’association imposés aux « non-membres ».

NOTES: These fees are in addition to the CSA Membership Fees.  The Congress Fee listed above will increase after March 31, 2013.
