Calendar of Events

Communicate with your Session Organizer(s) regarding expectations for the full paper submission due May 1, 2013.  Papers should be emailed directly to the organizer(s).   Contact information can be found within the session listings.

The Canadian Sociological Association will not be able to include a participant in the Official Conference Program if he or she has not complied with the Membership Requirement by April 15, 2013.

CSA Membership is independent of Congress registration. The first step is to ensure that your membership is in good standing throughout June 8, 2013. (more…)

Our CSA-SCS Conference planning committee is working to schedule a record number of sessions and events.  The preliminary schedule is now available to enable everyone to make travel arrangements.

Session Organizers will be reviewing abstract submissions after the deadline of January 31, 2013 and are expected to notify presenters whether their abstract has been approved or declined by February 15, 2013.

Students may submit applications for the CSA-SCS Student Travel Grant Program intended to assist students with travel expenses incurred when attending the Annual Conference to present a paper.

The CSA is now accepting abstract submissions for the 48th Annual Conference.
