CSA-SCS Annual Conference 2019

If you will be attending the CSA conference at the University of British Columbia (June 3-6, 2019), make sure to check out our sessions! The Applied Sociology Research Cluster has organized 6 research- and teaching-focused sessions this year, as well as a panel session on “Careers in Applied Sociology outside of Academe” where sociologists will speak about their work.

Please make sure to also attend our cluster meeting on Tuesday, June 4, 12:15pm-1:15pm in ANGU 296, where we will discuss plans for the upcoming year. Everyone is welcome!

Lastly, here is some information for when you first arrive on campus:

  1. Check-in at the Congress Hub to receive your delegate receipt, badge, and delegate guide (Location: The Nest’s Great Hall, from 7:30am-5pm)
  2. Visit the Canadian Sociological Association Information Booth to receive your Conference Program, network with colleagues, and enjoy refreshments during break-times (Location: ANGU 292, 5pm-7pm on June 2 and 8am to 5pm on June 3 to June 6).

Careers in Applied Sociology: CSA 2016 Panel
