Membership Approves Motion to Appoint a New Accounting Firm

In the recent vote by the members of the Canadian Sociological Association, the membership has approved the motion to appoint a new accounting firm.

Refer to an email sent to all members on April 8th 2011.

A total of 149 votes were submitted. 8 votes were rejected as duplicates or recently expired memberships. A total of 141 votes were counted.

Motion 1:
Moved by Katja Neves (CSA Treasurer), seconded by Harley Dickinson (CSA Past President, 2010-2011), to rescind the current accounting firm.

Moved by Katja Neves (CSA Treasurer), seconded by Harley Dickinson (CSA Past President, 2010-2011) to appoint a new CSA accounting firm for the 2010 financial year.
