2012 CSA Elections: Call for Nominations

Under the CSA by-laws, a Nominating Committee is struck each year, responsible for selecting candidates for election to the positions needing replacements. The Committee devises a slate with at least one nominee for each position, and the membership have the right to make additional nominations.

Questions regarding the nomination process should be sent to John Goyder, CSA Past President while those pertaining to the Election process should be sent to Katja Neves, CSA Treasurer and Election Officer.

Any five CSA members in good standing can make nominations by using the official form and sending it to the Nominating Committee c/o past-president@csa-scs.ca no later than April 6, 2012.

CSA Members must log in for additional information and to download the official nominations form.

The positions open for nomination are as follows;

  • President-Elect
  • Treasurer
  • Secretary
  • Research Advisory sub-Committee
  • Porter Award Committee
  • Policy, Ethics, and Professional Concerns
  • Student Sub-Committee                    
    • Central region representative
    • Eastern region representative

 

The final slate of candidates and the voting ballot will be available to members from April 15 – April 30, 2012.
