The Society for the Study of Social Problems (SSSP) is soliciting applications for the 2013 Racial/Ethnic Minority Graduate Scholarship. Persons identified as Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, Asian/Asian-American, Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander, or American Indian or Alaska Native and accepted into an accredited doctoral program in any one of the social and/or behavioral sciences are invited to apply for the $12,000 Racial/Ethnic Minority Graduate Scholarship. Applications are due by and must be received no later than February 1, 2013. Applicants will be notified of the results by July 15, 2013. All applicants must be a current member and a citizen or permanent resident of the United States when applying.
