CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
The Canadian Association on Gerontology is pleased to announce the
Call for Abstracts for CAG2013: Aging…from Cells to Society, October
17-19, 2013 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Join us for Canada’s premier multidisciplinary conference for those
interested in individual and population aging. This year’s conference
theme underlines the importance of multi- and interdisciplinary
perspectives on aging as we explore the impacts and changes of aging,
from our bodies to our society.
Abstracts are welcomed from all disciplines and all interests in
aging, including research, practice, policy and related work.
International submissions are encouraged. We are also pleased to
offer a Student Poster Competition and travel assistance grants.
CAG2013 features exciting and stimulating keynote speakers; oral,
paper, poster and symposium sessions; and interactive pre-conference
and conference workshops. There is also an exhibit hall and numerous
networking opportunities. All of this is set against the beautiful
backdrop of Halifax, Nova Scotia, with the charm and hospitality of
Canada’s East Coast.
Abstracts are due by April 15, 2013.

APPEL À SOUMISSION DE RÉSUMÉS
L’Association canadienne de gérontologie a le plaisir d’annoncer le
lancement de l’Appel à soumission de résumés pour l’ACG2013 placée sur
le thème « Le vieillissement…du niveau cellulaire au niveau sociétal
», qui aura lieu du 17 au 19 octobre à Halifax, en Nouvelle-Écosse, au
Canada.
Soyez des nôtres pour la principale conférence canadienne
multidisciplinaire s’adressant à tous ceux et celles qui s’intéressent
au vieillissement des individus et de la population. Le thème de la
conférence de cette année souligne l’importance des perspectives multi
et interdisciplinaires du vieillissement en ce qui concerne son impact
et les changements qu’il entraîne sur le corps et pour la société.
Les résumés provenant de toutes les disciplines et de tous les
domaines d’intérêts relatifs au vieillissement, incluant la recherche,
la pratique, les politiques et autres travaux apparentés sont les
bienvenus. Les soumissions en provenance de l’étranger sont également
bienvenues. Nous avons aussi le plaisir de proposer un concours
d’affiches pour étudiants et des bourses de voyage.
Au programme de l’ACG2013, des conférenciers passionnants et
inspirants; des exposés, des articles, des affiches et des symposiums;
une préconférence interactive et des ateliers en cours de conférence.
Il y aura également un hall d’exposants et de multiples occasions de
réseautage. La réunion se déroulera avec pour toile de fond la belle
ville d’Halifax et le charme et l’hospitalité de la côte atlantique
canadienne.
La date limite pour la soumission des résumés est fixée au 15 avril 2013.
