CSA-SCS Teaching Practice Cluster at CONGRESS 2020: Call for Session Proposals by Oct 18

The Annual CSA Conference will be held at Western University on June 1 – 4, 2020. The CSA Conference theme this year is Resisting Racism and Colonialism. We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible.
Please consider proposing a session for our cluster. We have formed a coordinating committee to organize teaching-related sessions for the upcoming  CSA conference.  Silvia Bartolic will collect all proposals and then the committee will discuss and coordinate them and if necessary provide feedback.  Session proposals are due to the CSA by October 28 at 11:59pm ET.  Regardless of whether or not you have already submitted your proposal directly to CSA, please send your ideas or complete proposals to Silvia (bartolic@mail.ubc.ca) by October 18 to give the committee some time to review them.  Please put “CSA teaching proposal” in the subject line. Our goal is to ensure the session proposals do not overlap and are broad enough to allow for a wide array of abstracts.
All session proposals are welcome. We encourage members to propose sessions that facilitate sharing teaching approaches and techniques, as well as scholarship of teaching and learning, on the Conference theme of Resisting Racism and Colonialism. Note that the CSA also welcomes interdisciplinary proposals in partnership with other Associations participating in the Congress. Sessions may be held in English and/or French and take the form of regular oral, roundtables, or panels.
We look forward to receiving your proposals.
The Call for Abstracts will be open from November 28, 2019 to January 27, 2020
If you know of colleagues who would like to join our group, please encourage them to sign up here:
