Rima Wilkes Appointed New Editor

Jan 30 2013

The members of the selection committee for editor of the Canadian Review of Sociology/revue canadienne de sociologie are pleased to announce that Rima Wilkes, University of British Columbia, has agreed to serve as Editor of the CRS for a three year term, beginning this June (subject to authorization of her appointment by the CSA Executive Committee in accordance with the terms of the Association's by-laws). I look forward to working with her in this new capacity, and hope that you will provide her strong support as she moves into this new role.

We are grateful for the strong contributions that Reza Nakhaie has provided during his term as Editor, and we look forward to the leadership and vision Rima will bring to this role.

I want to acknowledge as well the service to the Association provided by the members of the selection committee (Kate Bezanson, Brock University; Jim Frideres, University of Calgary; and Norine Verberg, St. Francis Xavier University).
