XIX ISA World Congress of Sociology Media

The Canadian Sociological Association (CSA) is proud to have been selected to co-host the International Sociological Association World Congress of Sociology in Toronto, July 15-21, 2018.

The XIX ISA World Congress of Sociology draws together international academics for innovative academic programming and robust intellectual exchange. This year, we anticipate attracting approximately 6,000 delegates from around the world.

The ISA World Congress theme, Power, Violence and Justice: Reflections, Responses and Responsibilities will focus on how scholars, public intellectuals, policy makers, journalists and activists from diverse fields contribute to our understanding of power, violence and justice.

We invite the media to join us at the event to report on the exceptional Canadian and international sociological research being presented.
