Outstanding Service Award / Prix De Service Remarquable

Introduction

The CSA has instituted an internal Service Award as recognition of those who have made exceptional service contributions to the Association. Exceptional service is broadly defined, and can include contributions by individuals who have not held a formal position on the Executive Committee as well as by those who have. Normally, the contributions would have been made over a period of years. Exceptional service contributors are understood to mean going beyond the basic job description of a position, coping with particularly difficult situations, or having a long term, recurring involvement in the Association in a number of ways.

La SCS a institué un prix interne en reconnaissance des services exceptionnels rendus à la Société. La notion de service exceptionnel est définie généralement et peut inclure des services rendus aussi bien par des membres du Comité exécutif que par des membres qui n’y ont pas siégé. Normalement les contributions de services doivent avoir été rendues sur de longues périodes de temps. Les services exceptionnels sont entendus comme allant au-delà de la description du mandat usuel d’une charge administrative, comprenant toute situation particulièrement difficile ou s’étendant sur une longue période impliquant un engament à différents niveaux envers la Société.
