The Canadian Sociological Association (CSA) and the Canadian Review of Sociology (CRS) would like to welcome, Dr. Dominique Clément, as the new Managing Editor (2022-2025). Dr. Clément has been an engaged member of the CSA and recipient of the 2009 John Porter Tradition of Excellence Book Award for Canada’s Rights Revolution: Social Movements and Social Change, 1937-82. University of British Columbia Press, 2008. He has contributed to the journal as an author and has been an Associate Editor for several years. Clément is also a member of the Royal Society of Canada’s College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists. His areas of expertise include human rights, social movements, the nonprofit sector, digital research tools and infrastructure, and historical sociology.
The Managing Editor is responsible for overseeing the journal’s finances, production and distribution processes, and policy directions. Dr. Clément will work closely with the Academic/Executive Editor, Dr. Tracey L. Adams, and will serve as the primary liaison between the journal’s Editorial Board, the CSA, and Wiley-Blackwell (the journal’s publisher).
