This panel session highlights sociologists who work in the public and private sectors, non-governmental organizations, or as independent consultants. We welcome practitioners who wish to inspire students and colleagues by discussing how they use their sociological training in their work outside academe and their pathways to these jobs. Students who are currently engaged in applied work outside academe are also encouraged to participate as panelists. Individuals who are interested in participating can submit a short biography and description of their work.
