Professional Background and Affiliations:
I have worked as a Coordinator for a 4th year sociology seminar course in Community Engaged Learning where students work with a variety of local non-profit agencies at the University of Victoria. I am also a Research Assistant for the ResiliencebyDesign Research Lab at Royal Roads University where we work with communities and youth affected by climate change and natural disasters using creative arts-based methods. During my previous and current degrees, I have been hired to work as a teaching assistant and research assistant. I have also worked in student services at the University of Victoria and Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops BC.
