CSA Conference: Call for Session Proposals

The 52nd Annual Conference of the CSA-SCS will be held from Monday, May 29 through to Thursday, June 1, 2017 as part of the Canadian Federation of Humanities and Social Sciences Congress this year taking place at Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada. As per usual, the Canadian Network of Durkheimian Studies/Réseau canadien d’études durkheimiennes will be organizing its annual meetings at Congress, and the time has come to submit your session proposals.

Session proposal submissions will be accepted from September 12 through October 28, 2016 using the CSA’s online system.

This year, the CSA will run a shorter conference,as per members’ request. They have added an extra slot of sessions later in the day and will also introduce roundtable sessions. The idea is that regular sessions will feature more developed work and research at an advanced stage, with roundtable sessions recommended for presentations on research in progress or more general thematic discussions.

We welcome ideas and propositions for joint sessions with other clusters/groups, and as always, sessions and roundtables can be proposed in english or french.

Don’t hesitate to communicate with us with any questions/proposals,

Looking forward to seeing you all at Congress 2017,

The executive team at CNDS/RCED
