Dianne Looker (long time member of the CSA who served many years on various CSA committees and executive) has set up a fund at Acadia University, where she was on faculty for 30 years.

The fund will allow the Sociology Department to bring in guest speakers to talk about possible career paths for Sociology graduates.  These speakers could be Sociologists (or related social scientists) who have achieved some recognition or who have followed an interesting pathway. For example, those who have won the CSA’s Applied Sociology would be able to provide some insights into non-academic paths for Sociology graduates.
