Postdoctoral fellowship in Oral History

The position is part of a major new 7-year project in Canada to research and tell the history of the forced sale of Japanese Canadian property during the Second World War. As part of this research, we are beginning an ambitious oral history project.

The postdoctoral position in oral history will begin at Ryerson University in Toronto in the fall of 2014. It is renewable for a total of 24 months and is valued at $40,000/year (CAN). The successful applicant will be an integral member of an interdisciplinary and multi-sector team, working directly under the supervision of Pamela Sugiman, one of Canada’s leading oral historians.

We will begin reviewing applications starting on July 25, 2014.
