The Sociology of Development Research Cluster of the Canadian Sociological Association was formed at the 2014 CSA Annual Meetings, building on earlier groundwork by a group of sociologists with a common interest in development.

The objectives of the Cluster are to promote sociology of development in Canada, to bring together scholars from all perspectives who share an interest in the sociological study of development (broadly defined), and to make linkages to sociologists doing similar work outside of Canada.

The cluster organizes a regular set of panels on the sociology of development at the CSA meetings, maintains a listserv, and liaises with other groups working on development issues and research.

For more information, or to join the cluster, please contact the cluster coordinator.
