Western University | June 1 – 4, 2020

The CSA Conference theme for 2020 will be “Resisting Racism and Colonialism, in step with the broader Congress theme (Bridging Divides: Confronting Colonialism and Anti-Black Racism). Calls for theoretical, empirical and/or praxis-oriented sessions that address these and other themes are now open.

Session proposal submissions will be accepted from September 18 through October 28, 2019.

The CSA Feminist Cluster welcomes session proposals from a variety of sociological and interdisciplinary perspectives that demonstrate the breadth of feminist engagements, research and resistance. Sessions may be held in English and/or French and take a variety of formats, including regular oral, themed roundtables, panels, or workshops.

Please see the CSA call for sessions submission guidelines here and send your session proposals before October 28, 2019 at 11:59pm ET. Session descriptions should be 300 words or less and be submitted via the online session proposal form. The organizing committee will review session proposals and decisions and guidelines will be communicated to Session Organizers on or around November 25, 2019. For the full call for sessions, and to submit your session proposal online, please visit the CSA website.

The Call for Papers will be open from November 28, 2019 through January 27, 2020.

We look forward to enriching and exciting Feminist Sociology (FEMSOC) sessions at Congress.
