Sociology of Mental Health Research Cluster Mentorship Program

At the business meeting in June 2019, we discussed some of the resources that could be provided by the Mental Health Research Cluster, which included a mentorship program to connect students and faculty with similar research interests. I’m happy to announce that the platform for this mentorship program is up and running on the cluster’s website.

The relationship between a faculty member and a student will vary on a case by case basis, but will likely involve providing feedback on papers, guidance on research ideas, advice on graduate school, and support with professional development. We will also hold informal mentorship events at the Annual CSA Conferences.

If you are interested joining the mentorship program, please contact us with your name, email address, and area of research. This information will be added to the mentorship website page so that potential students can reach out to you.
