Teaching Practice Cluster Sessions at 51st Annual CSA Conference

The 51st Annual CSA conference is fast approaching and our sessions have all been finalized.

The preliminary program can be found here.

This year the Teaching Practice Cluster and its members will be hosting sessions on teaching and learning strategies, teaching introductory sociology courses, emergent and recurring issues in the university classroom, a workshop on curriculum mapping, and a workshop for graduate students.

Don’t forget to register for Congress and the CSA conference, you can get information to plan your trip on the Congress 2016 website. The Calgary Transit C-train line runs through downtown on 7th avenue, so if you can get a hotel near that you will be a short 15-20 minute ($3.15, adult fare) ride to the University Main Campus. However, many of the downtown hotels are a reasonable distance from the train line.
