The CSA’s Policy, Ethics and Professional Concerns Subcommittee (PEPC) invites you to a casual conversation on professional engagement. Academics today have countless demands placed on us. Yet, we can (sometimes) carve out time to do things that are rewarding and feel meaningful. How do you decide how and where to spend your time professionally? What motivates you to get involved in professional activities? What gets in the way of your involvement? What strategies could the CSA adopt to inspire members to get involved in CSA activities and governance? What could the CSA do to make involvement in the CSA more accessible and more interesting? What would you like professional engagement to look like?
