This webinar will introduce participants to the Alliance and to the resources it offers to support research in the social sciences. Specifically, the webinar will cover (1) the importance of advanced research computing to the social sciences, (2) the resources available to Canadian researchers from the Alliance, and (3) how to access those resources for graduate students. The webinar will include a demonstration of how to access certain common softwares, such as OpenRefine and R, on the Alliance’s super computing clusters.
