Call for Submissions: CGC Conference

The Carleton University Communication Graduate Caucus is very excited to announce that are seeking abstracts for our 22nd annual conference, which will be held March 4 and 5, 2027 at Carleton University.

This year's theme, Friction in an Increasingly Frictionless World, grapples with the role of friction as a simultaneously valuable and oppressive force and encourages participants to contend with the role of productivity, efficiency, and struggle in our society. We are open to submissions of individual papers, pre-constituted panels, roundtables, and creative presentations that engage with friction as it relates to any aspect of communication and media.
