St. Francis Xavier University (StFX), located in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People, is one of Canada’s leading primarily undergraduate universities. We are inviting applications for the Steven K. Hudson Research Chair in Canada-US Relations within the Brian Mulroney Institute of Government.
The Steven K. Hudson Research Chair is an integral part of the Brian Mulroney Institute of Government at StFX. The successful candidate will be recognized as a promising early career academic researcher or an established academic leader capable of developing policy-relevant knowledge needed to inform the Canada-US relationship and address emerging and future challenges in Canada-US relations. Within this broad area, we are specifically interested in candidates who demonstrate expertise in areas that critically define Canada-US relations, such as trade and economic cooperation; defence, security and foreign affairs; environment and sustainable development; culture; and immigration. The Research Chair’s proposed research program should focus on one or more key aspects of Canada-US relations.
