CSA Membership

Applicable to those participating in one or both Conference sections; in-person (June 1 - 5, 2025) and/or virtual (June 9 - 13, 2025).

All participants in a session (chair, moderator, discussant, presenters, panelists, and keynote speaker) must be a member of the Canadian Sociological Association.

Canadian Sociological Association Membership is independent of Conference registration.

The first step is to ensure that your membership is in good standing throughout June 13, 2025. This may require that you enrol as a new member of the Canadian Sociological Association or renew your membership if it is set to expire prior to the Conference. Membership renewal will be possible 45 days prior to the expiration date.

Learn more about membership fees, policies, and the link to register or renew.

Contact us if you are unsure of your membership status.

Once your membership is confirmed, you may proceed to register for the Conference.

CSA In-person Conference Section Participant Registration

Applicable to those attending the in-person Conference section from June 1 – 5, 2025.

The Canadian Sociological Association Conference is held as part of the larger Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences therefore those wishing to attend our Conference at George Brown College must register through Congress (registration opens in January 2025).

There are two components in the delegate registration fee; the ‘Congress Base Fee’ and the ‘Association Conference Fee’. When registering as a delegate, you will be asked to select the Association Conference(s) in which you will be participating or attending.  To participate in the CSA Conference, select ‘#59 - Canadian Sociological Association / Société canadienne de sociologie (CSA-SCS)’ and appropriate fee category.

Members of the CSA benefit from reduced Association Conference Fee rates.

Register for the in-person conference - opens in January 2025

**Register by March 31, 2025 for the reduced rates below!**

Congress Base Fees increase as of April 1, 2025.  Learn more about Congress Base Fees (coming soon)
