CALL FOR PAPERS
The 2026 Call for Papers is now open. Submit papers or extended abstracts via our online submission process by 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Time) on January 31, 2026. STUDENT PAPER COMPETITIONS & OUTSTANDING SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS
Help recognize exceptional scholarship. To be considered for any Student Paper Competition, applicants must submit their papers through the Annual Meeting Call for Papers by 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Time) on January 31, 2026. This ensures that winning papers are both designated and included in the program. Details are available on our website. Inquires may be directed to sssp@utk.edu

RACIAL/ETHNIC MINORITY GRADUATE FEELOWSHIPS
SSSP will award two $15,000 fellowships to persons identified as Arab or Middle Eastern or North African, Asian or Asian-American, Black or African American, Latine or Hispanic, Native American or Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, including Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and undocumented students from one of the aforementioned groups. Applicants must be accepted into an accredited doctoral program in any of the social and/or behavioral sciences.Apply via our online submission portal by 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Time) on February 1, 2026.
