Full-Time Teaching Position(s): T8/T12 Assistant Lecturers
The Department of Sociology at the University of Alberta invites expressions of interest for 8 month (T8 - Fall 2026; Winter 2027) and 12 month (T12 - Fall 2026, Winter 2027, and Spring/Summer 2027) full time term positions to commence on September 1, 2026 with the possibility of renewal. Responsibilities for these positions include the teaching of 6 courses over an 8 month period (T8) or 8 courses over a 12 month period (T12).
Preference will be given to candidates who can teach in one or more of the following areas:
methods, criminology, social theory, inequality, and/or social problems.
